Assists in directing the activities of the cooks' helper. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the cooks' helpers in the performance of their duties. Reviews daily assignments, answers questions. Give detailed and proper information back. Reviews products for quality & quantity standards. Trains staff when assigned. Verifies competency in performing tasks.
Qualifications:
3-4+ years of experience in cooking items from scratch- following a set recipe- speed, quality and accuracy are absolutely essential to this role!
Culinary school background a plus! Queens residency or short commute to JFK also a big plus, as shifts/hours vary.
